Laura Gruber Gregory Battisti to wed in October

XLIBERTY — The engagement and upcoming marriage of Laura Gruber and Gregory Battisti, both of Columbus, is being announced by his parents, Fred and Kathy Battisti of Liberty.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Robert and Margaret Gruber of Martins Ferry. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Ohio State University and her master’s in education at Xavier University. She is a teacher at St. Joseph’s Montessori School in Columbus.

Mr. Battisti is a commercial lender with Advantage Bank in Columbus. He received his bachelor’s degree in business/finance from Bowling Green State University.

The couple will be married Oct. 13 at St. Mary Church in Martins Ferry, and a reception will follow at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, W.Va.
