Student gets reduced athletic suspension

POLAND — The Poland Seminary High School junior accused of drinking at a band night last month agreed to a reduced athletic suspension following a lengthy administrative appeal.

Brittany Gamble, 16, already served a five-day suspension from school. The discipline imposed by the high school principal and upheld by Superintendent Dr. Robert Zorn also called for a year’s suspension from athletic activities.
