Lakeview earned Trumbull Athletic Conference wins.

CANTON — Senior outside hitter Sarah Pelini had eight kills and nine digs, senior libero Katy Cerni had 12 service points and two aces and senior middle blocker Edna Robinson had four blocks for Mooney, which improved to 7-0 with a 25-17, 25-21, 25-17 win over Canton Central Catholic in a prep volleyball game Wednesday.

LEAVITTSBURG — Taylor Gasser had 11 points, five digs and three aces and Brittany Lange added 10 kills for Hubbard (5-0) in the Trumbull Athletic Conference match. LaBrae (3-7) was led by Brandy Stensrud with four aces and a block and Anna Bumgardner with four kills.

NEWTON FALLS — Megan Kay had 11 kills, eight points, one ace, four digs and two blocks for Liberty, while Ashley Venable had nine kills and nine digs and Jesse Szakacz had 29 assists.

Ashley Walker had eight points, three attempts, 15 digs and four kills for Newton Falls, while Blaine Chapman had five points, two aces, five attempts, four blocks and two digs and Kelsey McGregor had three points, one ace, eight attempts, three blocks, 13 digs and four kills.

BROOKFIELD — Joanne Novotny recorded 11 kills, 15 digs and 10 points for Lakeview (7-1).

Emily Malmisur added 10 kills and 14 points while Haley Bates had 30 assists.

Morgan Bonekovic led the Warriors (5-4) with 25 kills, 15 digs, three blocks and three points.

Jackson-Milton 26-25-25-25, Chaney 24-12-20-19

NORTH JACKSON — Katie Gettman and Jennifer Kolasky each scored 16 points, while Alyssa Chine had 21 kills and Gettman added 22 digs for Jackson-Milton (6-0).

Tracey Barron had 18 points and Alyssa Sykes 29 digs for Chaney.

LORDSTOWN — Meagan Gibson had 12 points, five aces, two digs, eight kills and one block, Whitney Blank had 20 points and eight aces and Karly Gibbs had 24 points, 12 aces and 20 assists for Lordstown (9-1, 4-0 NAC).

For Bristol, Lindsay Keller had three aces and Rachel Menchik had one block.

PYMATUNING VALLEY — Brandy Romanowski had 20 points, nine aces and six kills for Py. Valley (5-2, 4-1 NAC), while Jen DiBell 15 points, five aces and seven assists and Kayla Landis had six kills and four digs.

For Maplewood (1-5), Rachel Rice had six points, one ace and 17 assists, Chrystal Deman had two kills and two blocks and Brandy Dunbar had three digs.

BELOIT — Michelle Sosnick had nine points, 17 kills and five blocks for West Branch (1-9). Taylor Metzgar added eight points and three kills and Brittany Moore had seven points and two kills.

Anna Gabelts led Marlington (4-3) with 17 points, 12 kills and seven blocks.

CANFIELD — Jackie Nentwick had 22 points, three aces, 10 digs and 16 kills in Canfield’s win over Liberty last Saturday.

Kelsey Owen had 19 kills and Kalie Luklan added 14 kills and 20 blocks. Rachael O’Hara had 47 assists.
