XYOUNGSTOWN — The Rev. Monsignor David W. Rhodes officiated when Lori Tomko and Adam Hromyak exchanged marriage vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 3 at St. Christine Church.

Philip Tomko Jr. of Girard and Ruby Tomko of Youngstown are the bride’s parents, and the groom is a son of Joseph Hromyak Sr. of Struthers and the late Alice Hromyak.

A reception was held afterward at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall.

Beaded lace accented the bride’s white princess-style gown of net over satin, which featured a halter bodice and beaded semicathedral train. A tiara held her semicathedral veil.

Barbara Horvath was matron of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Linda Phillips, Melissa Laverock and Kayla Tomko, also a sister of the bride. Their gowns were purple.

John Loshuk Sr. was best man, with Scott Stroud, Mark Valerio and Nick Horvath, the bride’s brother-in-law, as groomsmen and her brother, Philip Tomko Jr., as usher.

Her daughter, Kalli Tomko, and nephew, Ignatius Horvath, were junior bride and groom, and flower girl and ring bearer were her niece, Johna Horvath, and John Loshuk Jr.

After their honeymoon at Atwood Lake, the couple returned to their home in Youngstown.

Mr. Hromyak is a locomotive operator with Ellwood Engineered Castings in Hubbard. His wife, a graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Radiology, is a CAT scan technician with Humility of Mary Health Partners in Boardman.
