XYOUNGSTOWN — Immaculate Heart of Mary Church provided the setting at 2 p.m. July 28 for the wedding of Brandy Leksell and Shaddick Keagy, both of 101 L’ Ambiance, Lafayette, La.

The Rev. Stephen Popovich officiated, and a reception was held later that day in the ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium.

The couple honeymooned at Natures Cabins in southern Ohio and live in Lafayette.

Parents of the couple are Don and Beth Leksell of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Michael and Michele Keagy, 5140 Willowcrest Drive, Austintown.

Pearls, sequins and lace appliques enhanced the bride’s white satin gown. It featured a halter-style bodice, corset back and semicathedral train.

Alexis Jasinski and Lauren Lamb were honor attendants, and bridesmaids were Courtney Keagy, Kelsey Thompson, Chrissy Vinciguerra, Miranda Abplanalp and Amber Leksell. Flower girl was Chrystal Leksell.

Jason Welty and Dave Willis were best men, and groomsmen were Dan Oberdorf, Tyler Davis, Joe Fekety, Marty Schriver and Donny Ferree. Ring bearer was Michael Ferree, and ushers were Kevin Thompson, Matt Jasinski and Zachary Thompson. Also participating were Megan and Sabrina Leksell.

The bride graduated cum laude from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa.

The groom, a field engineer for Haliburton Energy Services in Broussard, La., earned a bachelor’s degree in geology at Mercyhurst College.
