Donors to the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Wary are being offered chances to win a new car, gasoline and airline tickets. Here are the prizes and who is eligible for the drawing to win.

2007 Pontiac G6 convertible, provided by Sweeney Buick, Pontiac, GMC Truck and Chevrolet: Any donor who gives a minimum of $5 a week, or a total annual gift of $260.

Two round-trip tickets to any destination in the continental United States, donated by Carlson-Wagonlit Travel; or a $1,000 gasoline card donated by True North Energy: Any donor who gives a minimum of $3 per week, or a total annual gift of $156.

Also, any donor who contributes a minimum of $2 per week or a total annual gift of $104, will receive a Community Benefits Coupon Book containing discount offers from 54 local businesses.

Lawrence County: The Lawrence County United Way Day of Caring is planned for Thursday with 180 volunteers expected. Employees from 18 businesses located in the county are scheduled to participate. Work will be done at the Salvation Army, the New Castle City Rescue Mission, The American Red Cross, Lark Enterprises, Catholic Charities and other agencies.
