Back-to-school block party set for Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — Stopping the Violence Committee will present a free back-to-school community block party from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday on Park Avenue (next to Wick Park and Stambaugh Auditorium) on Youngstown’s North Side.

There will be musical entertainment, a car and motorcycle show, food and fun for the entire family.

Among the host of radio personalities, artists, businesses, clubs, and ministries from Youngstown and surrounding areas participating and supporting the event will be Lucky Penny, DJ Stan the Man, 2 Fly & We Famous, Suge B, Ceniel, Paulea, Candace Campana, Candy Reign, Jimmy Pynk, DVA, STV Enterprises, Maynstream, New Style Riders, Ladies ‘n’ Motion, Riden’ Pretty, Dangerous Curves, Brothers of the Hammer, Jokers Wrath, Afro Dogs, F.O.R., Riders Block, Disconnected, Dragon Masters, Zulus, Youngstown Night Riders, YEADA, and CDRC Street Team.
