The Eagles knocked off
previously unbeaten and 14th ranked Lakeview.
HUBBARD — The Hubbard High volleyball team remains undefeated after knocking off previously-unbeaten and No. 14-ranked Lakeview.
The Eagles won Monday’s Trumbull Athletic Conference match by scores of 26-20, 25-22,19-25, 28-26,.
Jackie Carlisle had 17 kills and five blocks, Gabby Flynn 32 digs, Lauren Ferguson 33 assists, Courtney Angelo 19 service points and Taylor Gasser two aces to lead Hubbard (4-0, 4-0 TAC).
For Lakeview (6-1, 3-1 TAC), Emily Malmisur had 22 kills, Haley Bates 41 assists and Joanna Novotny 27 digs.

POLAND —Poland improved to 4-1 behing Katie Pompeii’s 14 kills, five points and three digs.
Kristen Clark added 18 points, five aces and four digs and Jill Wollet came up with 10 points, two aces, 24 assists and five kills.
South Range was led by Ashley Baughn with two aces, 15 digs, six kills and five blocks.

MINERAL RIDGE — Lindsay Bates led the Red Dragons (4-2) with six blocks and five kills.
Kristina Pallante scored 11 points, while Amanda Binion had seven assists.
Jenna Spackman sparked the Rams (0-6) with 13 points, three aces and 23 assists. Taylor Shiley had 10 kills.

LEETONIA — Chelsea Bowker and Kyler Thompson led the Rebels (6-1, 5-0 ITCL) with 11 an 10 kills, respectively. Abby Coppock had 10 points and Paige McElroy 32 assists.
Sarah Weikart led the Bears (3-7, 2-2) with six digs, nine kills and four blocks.
Nikki Huston had six digs, while Staci Medved scored seven points.

GIRARD — Ausha Nickels made 12 kills, 19 assists and three aces for the Indians.
Olivia Bucci made 13 kills and Jessica Cardiero had 19 assists.

For the Tigers, Ashley Walker made 11 digs, Stephanie Blair made 11 assists and Morgan Sipka scored four points.
