CANFIELD

Sept. 2

Drug offense: Police arrested three men, two of them from Bradford, Pa., on Hood Drive and charged them drug offenses. Police found on them a generic Percocet, a partially smoked suspect marijuana cigarette and a green pipe containing suspected marijuana residue.

Drug abuse: Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown woman at Fairgrounds Boulevard and Timbercrest Drive for possession of two Vicodin tablets on charges of drug abuse, obtaining and possessing. They also arrested a 24-year-old Akron man on an outstanding warrant.

Sept. 3

Drug abuse: Police arrested a 36-year-old Niles man in a driveway in the 30 block of Neff Drive and charged him with drug abuse and possessing two generic Darvocet pills.

AUSTINTOWN

Sept. 3

Vandalism: Tires on service trucks were flattened with a staple gun at Health Care Solutions, 1096 N. Meridian Road.

Burglary: A wallet was taken out of a vehicle in a garage at a home in the 1000 block of Cross Drive.

Sept. 4

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 600 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Criminal damaging: A bus window was broken in the bus area at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Weapons offense: A juvenile male was taken to Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center by his probation officer on a weapons offense in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Theft: Police arrested a man for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., and placed him in Mahoning County Jail.

Theft: A bicycle was taken from a home in the 300 block of Idlewood Road.

Burglary: A house in the 100 block of Edgehill Avenue was broken into.

Disorderly conduct: A woman was placed in county jail for disorderly conduct at state Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.

Sept. 5

Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Attempted theft: A window was shattered on a vehicle but nothing was taken at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Windows were broken out of an auto and another vehicle and their GPS systems taken at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A window was broken out and a GPS system was stolen from a vehicle parked at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A window was broken out and a GPS system was stolen from a vehicle at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Assault: Police arrested a Youngstown woman for assault at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive. She was taken to the county jail.

Drug offense: Two men, one from Liberty and the second from Youngstown, were found with suspected marijuana and scales. They were arrested in the 4000 block of Pembrook Drive.

Burglary: A flat-screen TV and a .22-caliber rifle were taken in a burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.

Sept. 6

Fraud: Counterfeit checks were passed at Cash Today/Payday Advance, 4767 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A fence was damaged at a home in the 300 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: Clothing and appliances were taken at Dale Cleaners, 4409 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A customer short-changed an employee at Taco Bell, 850 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Sept. 7

Theft: Lounge pants and a clip-on watch were stolen at Deals, 6007 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: A 25-year-old man was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing at Austintown Fitch High School.

Burglary: Medication was taken from an apartment in the 20 block of North Wickliffe Circle.

Theft: A Tallon Trail camera was stolen from a home in the 7000 block of Fairview Road. Criminal damaging: A vehicle windshield was stolen from the carport at Wilcher Apartments, 3820 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 8

Criminal damaging; A vehicle door and hood were damaged at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Weapons offense: A man was arrested on a charge of carrying a firearm while intoxicated at Plaza West, South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A 16-year-old female was arrested on charges of shoplifting, possession of tobacco and curfew violation at Wal-Mart.

Theft: A male suspect fled on foot after stealing at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 9

Disorderly conduct: A male suspect was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at a home in the 80 block of North Navarre Avenue.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was placed in county jail after being arrested at New Road and South Raccoon Road on possession of cocaine.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a purse at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: An altered prescription was presented at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Aldrich Road.
