Canfield 4, Fitch 1
AUSTINTOWN — Dave Kanotz, Jared Turocy, Tim Hutchinson and Will Ferrando scored for Canfield (3-2-1). Chad Richards, Eric Arden and Billy Fisher each had an assist. Goalkeeper Eric Clayton made three saves. For Fitch, Nick Bowlen scored and goalkeeper Jason Haseley made seven saves. The Cardinals outshot the Falcons, 26-3.
Heartland Christian 3, South Range 1
NORTH LIMA — Freshman Durand Foutz, sophomore Kyle Knepper and junior Treg Lunger had one goal apiece for Heartland (7-1). Durand and Knepper put the Lions up, 2-0 at halftime, before South Range’s Nick Scheetz scored the first goal of the second half. Lunger also had an assist. Aaron Shields had 14 saves for Heartland, while South Range goalie Luke Yeagley made 10 saves for the Raiders.

Mooney 0, Walsh Jesuit 0
CUYAHOGA FALLS — The Cardinals (2-1-2) tied the two-time Division I state champs. The Cardinals, a Division II team, have never beaten the Warriors (3-0-3). Mooney senior goalkeeper Meagan McGlaughlin made six saves. Kelly Sklenar, Emma Engler, Kelcie Herberger and Colleen Hernan excelled on defense.
Springfield 5, Garrettsville Garfield 3
GARRETSVILLE — Allyson Berry had two goals and one assist and Katie Bretz two goals to lead Springfield (4-0). Carrie Ritzler scored the Tigers’ other goal while Breanne Mincher delivered three assists and Amber Uscianowski one assist. Goalkeeper Heather Cozak made 12 saves. For Garfield (4-2), Olivia Dressler tallied two goals while Maxine Kasunick had the other goal. Kynslie Thorndike made 20 saves.
Badger 4, Crestview 0
KINSMAN — Shawna McNeely, Taylor Phillips, Amelia Deraway and Maddie Anthony scored goals for Badger (4-2). McNeely, Phillips and Sarah Smith had assists for the Braves. Goalkeepers Katy Dvorak (five saves) and Kelsey Flowers (two saves) combined to shut out the Rebels. Goalkeeper Shanea Beiling made 10 saves for Crestview.
