Sewing guild members to appear on show

YOUNGSTOWN — “Community Connection” host Madonna Chism Pinkard will interview members of the Niles American Sewing Guild on the lost art of sewing and how it is making a resurgence. Virginia Hardman, Lenore Antonelli and Barbara Rosier-Tryon of the guild will be the guests.

Next, Susan Moorer, coordinator of Diversity Initiatives, and Olga Rivera, YSU Hispanic Awareness Committee member, will discuss upcoming activities for the National Hispanic Awareness Month Celebration at Youngstown State University.

“Community Connection” airs at 6:30 a.m. Sunday and will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Time Warner Cable educational Channel 15 in Trumbull County.
