Forum Health has approved the sale of its Beeghly Medical Park facilities in Boardman to Akron Children’s Hospital. Some background information on the medical park.

Opened in 1986 as the area’s first outpatient medical center.

The Women’s and Infants Pavilion, along with other nonpediatric departments, will be moved back to Northside Medical Center in Youngstown. The $20 million, 69,000-square-foot pavilion opened in the medical park in May 2005.

Beeghly Oaks, a 140-bed long-term care facility located on the campus, was sold this week to Vrable Healthcare Companies of Columbus.
