HARTVILLE — Jaime Avona scored on a penalty kick in the first half and Heather Hughes scored a goal on an assist from Jenn Libbey in the second half for the Spartans (4-0, 2-0 Federal League). The Spartans had eight shots on goal and Lake had five. Cheynne Khativ had five saves for the Spartans. Dana Fleishman had six saves for the Blue Streaks.

Massillon Jackson 6, Fitch 0

MASSILLON — Emily Kenyon had two goals and an assist, while Rachel Dennis added two goals for the Polar Bears (5-0, 2-0 Federal League). Elle Sypek had two assists. Abby Kenyon and Elizabeth Harter scored goals while Liz Cloupia and Maggie Rwnak had assists. Allison Glasgow made one save. For the Falcons (4-1-1, 1-1), goalkeeper Ali Polich made six saves.

Springfield 5, Girard 1

GIRARD — Carrie Ritzler scored three goals while Breanne Mincher and Amber Uscianowski scored one each for the Tigers (3-0). Ritzler, Allyson Berry and Hannah Chapella had assists while goalkeeper Heather Cozak made nine saves. For the Indians (1-4), Jaime Schnarrs scored and goalkeeper Melissa Weitzman made 14 saves.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Eric Arden scored two goals to spark the Cardinals in the Metro Athletic Conference game. John Kanotz, Nate Merhaut, Patrick Connors and Tim Hutchinson each had a goal. Kanotz, Griffin Todd, Jake Goclano and Jim Naples each had an assist.

Crestview 2, South Range 1

NORTH LIMA — Jason Baker and Austin Elwonger each scored a goal while Mitchell See had two assists for the Rebels (3-1, 2-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One). Andrew Edwards of South Range (3-3, 2-1) scored a goal on an assist from Nick Scheetz.

Hubbard 2, Champion 0

CHAMPION — Alex Chick and Jeremy Frazzini scored for the Eagles (2-1, 2-0 Trumbull Athletic Conference). Chick assisted on Frazzini’s goal. Hubbard goalkeeper Galen Hayek made 13 saves. Champion (1-3, 0-1) goalkeeper Brent Barbe made nine saves.
