Breakfast to kick off 2007 Day of Caring

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way will kick off its 2007 Day of Caring and Campaign on Tuesday with “Breakfast of Champions” from 8 to 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel.

Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams and Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik will be special guests at the event, which will feature a free, complimentary breakfast buffet.

Reservations are required by Saturday and can be made by calling the United Way office at (330) 746-8494.

The Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way office is located at 255 Watt St. Volunteers are still needed for Day of Caring projects. Anyone wishing to help should call the number above or e-mail jstock@ymvunitedway.org.
