TAKING THE OATH: Newly elected Mahoning County Prosecutor James A. Philomena is administered the oath of office on New Year’s Eve as his wife, Patricia, holds the Bible. The swearing-in took place in the Mahoning County Courthouse with Common Pleas Judge Peter Economus presiding. Judge Economus now sits on the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.
