South Range earns five-set victory over Mineral Ridge in ITCL

Springfield and Crestview also earned ITCL wins.

MINERAL RIDGE — Ashley Vaughn had seven kills and five blocks to help the South Range High volleyball team beat Mineral Ridge, 25-20, 14-25, 25-23, 16-25, 15-5 in an Inter Tri-County League Tier One volleyball match on Tuesday.

Jen Felt had 20 assists for the Raiders (3-2, 1-2).

Jenna Spackman led the Rams (0-3, 0-3) with 15 points, seven aces and 27 assists.

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Whitney Yeager had seven points, two aces, kills and four blocks to spark the Tigers (2-3, 2-1 TCL). Kallie Rogers had nine points, 34 assists and four aces.

Courtney Votaw led the Blue Devils (0-4, 0-3) with eight points and six kills. Mindy Jackson had 14 kills and four blocks.

NEW WATERFORD — Chelsea Bowker scored eight points with two aces, 18 kills, 10 digs and four blocks for the Rebels. Paige McElroy had four points, 25 assists, four digs and four kills.

Emily Fowler led the Clippers (3-1, 2-1 ITCL) with nine points. Kaylee Couchenour had 14 digs.

For Ursuline (0-3), Alexis Millerielle had four points, Tymira Stenson three aces and seven blocks and Kristin Kay and Dominique Jenkins four kills each.

POLAND — Amy Scullion had four aces and 16 kills, Katie Scullion four aces and seven kills and Allie Ward seven kills to lead Salem.

Kaitlyn Opritza led the Wildcats with seven points, 16 kills and 17 blocks. Briana Tamaret had 15 points, two aces and 18 digs.
