Fire destroys North Side home

YOUNGSTOWN — An unoccupied house at 2110 Roche Ave. on the North Side was destroyed by fire around 2 a.m. today, the fire department said. Fire Capt. Alvin Ware said the resident was not home at the time of the fire. Firefighters listed the damage at $23,000, a total loss. The cause remains under investigation.
