“Children of God: Lost and Found” (7 p.m., Cinemax): A former member of Children of God, a controversial Christian cult, searches for others who have tried to start a life outside the group. Noah Thomson investigates how young adults function in the world beyond the organization, which news accounts have indicated was rife with child sexual abuse. Many former cult members, Thomson discovered, were unable to adjust to the outside world and turned to crime, drugs or suicide.
“Temptation” (8 p.m., MNTV): A new twist on the classic “Sale of the Century,” this syndicated game show challenges contestants’ knowledge of pop culture and current events. Players who can deliver correct responses earn cold, hard cash. The savvy contestants can then spend their winnings on prizes offered at bargain prices — $20 for a spa getaway or $15 for the services of a personal chef for a full year. Whoever has the most money at the end of the show can choose a grand prize, or return to play the next day for even more cash. Rossi Morreale hosts.
“Last Comic Standing” (9 p.m., NBC): It’s not always a laugh riot on “Last Comic Standing.” This week, another contestant is told to pack up and hit the road. That leaves three finalists vying for the crown. They had better bring the funny.
“Backyard Stadiums” (10 p.m., DIY): Here’s how to turn your backyard into a haven for sports activity.
