Seminar on fundraising

BOARDMAN — A seminar on fundraising will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Holiday Inn at 7410 South Ave. The seminar, titled Framework for Success: Finding the Art in Fundraising, is sponsored by the Mahoning/Shenango Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Mahoning/Shenango Planned Giving Council.

The program will feature six educational sessions presented by nationally known fundraising and planned giving experts, along with a keynote presentation by Paulette V. Maehara, president and chief executive of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Cost is $100, which includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Dinner meeting

WARREN — The Western Reserve Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will hold a dinner meeting at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at Cafe 422, 4422 Youngstown Road.
