Men

Thiel 6, Mount Aloysius 0 — Thiel sophomore Cory Borland registered a pair of goals for the Tomcats (1-0). Freshman Chad Swisher (Alliance) opened the scoring in the second half with his goal at the 62nd minute mark, which was followed by Borland's second, thanks to a Swisher assist, in the 67th minute.

Westminster 5, Point Park 0 — The match was scoreless at the half. The Titans' defense limited the Pioneers to just one shot during the game, as Westminster held a 26-1 shot advantage. Sophomore forward Brice Lott scored two goals. Freshman midfielder Alan Baldwin scored his first career goal to open the scoring for Westminster in the 46th minute. Baldwin also assisted on Lott's second goal. Senior midfielder Garrett Horvath then gave the Titans a two-goal cushion with a goal in the 56th minute. After two Lott goals, senior midfielder J.R. Little (Ursuline) netted his second career goal in the 82nd minute.

Women

Westminster 4, Adrian 0 — The Titans picked up their first win of the season. The Titans are 1-0-1 while Adrian is 0-2. Four different Titans registered goals including two by reserves. Senior midfielder Kait Etzel-Hardman scored first in the 17th minute on an assist from freshman Sarah Nee. Nee attempted five of the team's 18 shots, while the Titan defense limited the Bulldogs to three shots. Etzel-Harman also assisted on the Titans' next goal, feeding sophomore reserve Lauren Graeser with a breakaway goal just seconds before the first-half buzzer. Senior Kristen Martin scored in the 75th minute and freshman reserve Hannah Schade netted her first career goal in the 81st minute. Westminster sophomores Lindsey Mellott (Lakeview) and Christine Clawges combined for the shutout with thee and one saves, respectively.

Fisher Invitational

Men

Thiel — finished fifth of nine teams with a team score of 143 while the women's squad posted individual times. Freshman Derek Workman was the Tomcats' top performer, finishing 21st in the eight-kilometer event with a time of 30:32.2. Fellow freshmen Alex Bent and Tim Rosario (Brookfield) crossed in 20th and 30th place, respectively, with Bent finishing with a time of 31:36.9 and Rosario with a time of 31:38.8. Junior Kate DeGeorge was the top performer on the women's side, finishing 55th with a time of 23:28.3 in the five-kilometer event.
