Falling tree injures man boarding boat

SHARON, Pa. — A 40-year-old man was injured about 3:55 p.m. Saturday when a part of a dead tree fell and struck his head as he was boarding a boat on the Shenango River.

The Mercer County 911 Center also said that the man was flown by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

The man’s name was not released.
