Ohio State made it 24-3 with 9:41 left in the third quarter on a Ryan Pretorius 24-yard field goal. Quarterback Todd Boeckman made two bad reads on second and third down pass plays from the YSU 7 or else it would be 28-3.

YSU freshman Stephen Blose kicked a 41-yard field goal with 6:44 left to make it 24-6. The scoring drive was set up by a sack by YSU defensive back Vince Gliatta on Boeckman, forcing a fumble that the Penguins recovered on the OSU 27.

On the second play of the fourth quarter, Trever Robinson scored on a 1-yard touchdown pass from Boeckman to up Ohio State’s lead to 31-6.

By the way, the spread is 32.

Gamblers everywhere are starting to sweat.
