YSU/OSU Live | More important than an ex-coach?

COLUMBUS — While membership has its privileges, it only goes so far.

Earle Bruce, the former Buckeye football coach who now works for a Columbus radio station, is sitting in the third row of the press box. Not bad, but it’s two rows behind the staff of The Vindicator, who like Bob Uecker is in the front row.

Ohio State obviously has its priorities straight. Vindicator reporters, front row. College football hall of famer, two rows back.

Numerous people yelled, “Go get ‘em, Earle,” and “Go Bucks,” as Bruce made his way to his seat. Except for “Watch it, buddy,” no one said anything else to The Vindicator writers.
