YSU/OSU Live | First quarter highlights

Ohio State scored just over five minutes into the game on its first possession on a 3-yard TD pass from first-year starter Todd Boeckman to freshman Dane Sanzenbacher.

Sanzenbacher played for Toledo Central Catholic, which defeated Canfield in the 2005 state championship game. (If this brings up bad memories, Cardinals fans, my apologies.)

Youngstown State punted on its first three possessions — gaining just one first down in the first process — and the last punt was partially blocked, setting up the Buckeyes with a first down at the YSU 27.

A few minutes later, Chris “Beanie” Wells bulled the ball down to the 1 yard line. It’s third and goal at the 1.

Looks like it’s about to be 14-0.
