TV guests to speak about conference on Hispanic heritage


YOUNGSTOWN — Hispanic Heritage Month is Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, and a Hispanic Heritage Conference will take place Sept. 21 at Youngstown State University.

Susan M. Moorer, coordinator of diversity initiatives, and Dr. Silvia Hyre, special assistant to the dean, from Youngstown State University, will be the guests on Sunday’s “Sunday Morning With Dee Crawford” show, which airs at 8 a.m. on WKBN-TV 27.

Mary Isa Garayua, director of the Hispanic group OCCHA, will also be a guest on the show.
