DIVISION I

Who: Boardman (15-10) vs. Solon (21-4)
Where: Hudson High
When: 6 p.m. today
Other semifinal: Wooster (23-3) vs. Mentor (24-2).
Scouting report: Boardman, which is making its first regional appearance, dropped just one set in four tournament games, ousting Copley in the district final. The Spartans are led by seniors Danielle Bletso and Danielle Williams. Solon, ranked sixth in Ohio, defeated Hudson in three games in the district final. The Comets are led by senior Kayla Jeter, a second-team all-Ohioan last year.

DIVISION II

Who: Salem (25-0) vs. Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit; Hubbard (22-4) vs. Parma Padua (21-4)
Where: Stow-Munroe Falls High
When: 6 p.m. Thursday
Scouting report: Salem finished the regular season as the state’s top-ranked team in the Ohio coaches poll. The Quakers have played just one five-set match this year, defeating Uniontown Lake, a Division I team. Salem is led by senior Sarah Brobeck, a second team all-Ohioan last year, and sophomore Amy Scullion, who earned honorable mention statewide last year and her sister, Katie Scullion. Walsh Jesuit is unranked. Hubbard, which was ranked 14th, won a district title in 2005, falling to Walsh Jesuit in the regional semis. The Eagles are led by Jackie Carlisle, Brittany Lange and Lauren Ferguson. Padua, ranked 16th, did not drop a set in the district tournament, defeating Parma Hts. Holy Name for the district crown.

DIVISION III

Who: Girard (17-9) vs. Independence (21-4)
Where: Barberton High School
When: Approximately 8 p.m. today
Other semifinal: Gates Mills Gilmour (22-3) vs. West Salem Northwestern (25-1)
Scouting report: Neither team was ranked statewide. Girard defeated Crestview in straight sets for its sixth district title in seven years. The Indians are led by Aysha Nickels, Olivia Bucci and Cassie Guerrieri. Independence defeated Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph for the district title.

DIVISION IV

Who: Norwalk St. Paul (23-2) vs. Lordstown (24-2)
Where: Twinsburg High
When: 6 p.m. Thursday
Other semifinal: Ashtabula Sts. John and Paul vs. Kidron Cent. Christian
Scouting report: Lordstown, ranked 17th, won its first regional title since longtime track coach Frank Rahde started the program in 1979. The Red Devils are led by Megan Gibson, Karly Gibbs and Brianna Blodgett. St. Paul won the Div. IV state title last year and in 2002. The Flyers are ranked third in Ohio. They’re led by senior Andrea Fritz, who earned honorable mention all-Ohio last season.
