Pa. woman accused of killing boyfriend in pillow dispute

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A Fayette County woman is being accused of killing her boyfriend in a dispute over a favorite pillow.

Forty-two-year-old Johnna Marie Palya already faces charges in the August shooting. But 43-year-old Barry Pavlicko died Saturday of his wounds, and police are adding homicide charges to the previous accusations against Palya.

Police say Palya admitted shooting Pavlicko after he took the pillow she had planned to sleep with and then attempted to shove her down the stairs. Palya is being held in Fayette County Prison.
