Model railroad club plans open house

AUSTINTOWN — Youngstown Model Railroad Association is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and plans an open house from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and again Nov. 10 and 11, at 751 N. Four Mile Run Road, at the corner of Raccoon Road in Austintown.

The club is one of only a few in the country that has two complete displays, O scale and the smaller HO scale. Both layouts feature more than 100 scale miles of track each.

Cost is a donation of $3 per person; children under 12 with a family member are admitted free.
