Memorial scholarship fund dinner Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — The fifth annual Danielle Marie Hodge Scholarship Dinner will be held Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel.

The event will feature a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner from 7 to 8:30. There will also be a Chinese auction and entertainment by the Music Man. Tickets are $35.
Proceeds will benefit a scholarship fund, established in memory of Ms. Hodge, who died in a car accident, by her parents and family through the Youngstown State University Foundation.

The scholarships will benefit an Ursuline High School graduate who will attend YSU. Two scholarships, totaling $1,800, were awarded for the 2007-2008 academic year to 2007 Ursuline graduate Lisa Stafford and Ursuline alumnus David Patrick.
