KEEPING UP WITH … How local NFL players fared Sunday


Jeff Wilkins, Rams (Fitch/YSU) — Made 2-of-2 field goals and two extra points in the Rams’ 27-20 loss to the Browns. Wilkins converted field goals from 40 and 46 yards in the second and third quarters after the Rams scored two first-quarter touchdowns. Wilkins is 14-of-20 on field goals this season and has scored 49 points.

Anthony Smith, Steelers (Hubbard) — The former Syracuse standout started at free safety for the Steelers in their 24-13 win over the Bengals. He finished with a team-high eight tackles and added two more stops on special teams.

Brad Smith, Jets (Chaney) — The former Missouri standout started at wide receiver for the Jets in their 13-3 loss to the Bills. He caught three passes for 43 yards, including a long of 20 yards, and returned one kickoff for 4 yards. Smith also had one special teams tackle.

Marlin Jackson, Colts (Sharon) — The former Michigan standout started at right cornerback for the Colts in their 31-7 victory over the Panthers. He was credited with one tackle and one pass defensed.
