Info you need to know

All children 6 months to 5 years old, anyone 50 and older and people with chronic diseases should get a flu shot. The Mahoning County District Board of Health ordered 4,420 doses of flu vaccine for the 2007-2008 flu season. Here is how many have been dispensed at various locations:

Oct. 19: Canfield Fairgrounds, drive-through service, 857 shots.

Oct. 18: Green Township Hall, 89 shots.

Oct. 18: Beaver Township Hall, 56 shots.

Oct. 12: St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, Austintown, 410 shots.
