ASSOCIATIONS

• American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 in the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave. There will be a continental breakfast, a business session and a program on “San Salvador Island, Bahamas,” by Dr. Ronald Shaklee of Youngstown State University. CLASSES

• McDonald High School Class of 1956 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

CLUBS

• American Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, Youngstown, will hold a business meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the clubhouse. On the agenda will be discussion of the dobos torta sale in November.

• Mahoning Valley Cribbage Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. James Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. New players are welcome. For more information, call (330) 757-9503.

• Welcome Wagon Club of Canfield will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 W. Main St., for guest night. The Marines will present their Toys for Tots program and give an exhibition. Everyone attending is asked to take a new unwrapped toy to donate.

POLITICAL CLUBS

• Federated Democratic Women will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Denny’s on Route 224, Boardman. All candidates are welcome.

• Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkwood Youth Center.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

• Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the church hall.

• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

• Seton III will meet for Mass at 12:10 p.m. Thursday and for a luncheon afterward at St. Columba Church hall. A program on “Drug Addiction” will be presented by Judge John M. Durkin of the Court of Common Pleas. Margaret Mullen, hostess chairwoman, will be assisted by Martha Conroy, Elaine Mazur, Ann Marie Morley, Sister Isabel Rudge, Dee Snyder, Jinx Storey and Sue Williams. Members are to take the handouts that were distributed at the October meeting. Shirley Zambetis announced the charity committee will feed needy families at Thanksgiving.

SERVICE CLUBS

• Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St.

• D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. • Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the private dining room at Denny’s restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road. Meetings are free and open to all caregivers, family members and friends of those with memory problems.
