Saturday
Breaking and entering: A woman moving from her apartment in the 200 block of East Liberty Street returned to find it had been broken into and ransacked, with items missing.
Theft: A man reported property stolen from a yard near Henry and North Main streets.
Sunday
Arrest: Officers picked up a woman, no information given, wanted on a warrant from Hubbard charging her with fraud, criminal simulation, theft and passing bad checks.
Criminal mischief: An East Liberty Street woman discovered that someone placed sugar in her vehicle’s gas tank.
Monday
Theft: A Church Street woman reported the theft of her son’s bicycle.

Saturday
Theft: A West Second Street man reported a stereo stolen from his mother’s car.
Assault: A West Howard Street woman reported that two 10-year-old boys hit her two children as they played in the victims’ backyard. Both youngsters had marks on them, police said.
Assault: A Farrell, Pa., man reported that another man struck the accuser in the face at a home in the 600 block of Trumbull Avenue.
Sunday
Theft: A Hubbard man reported a $500 radio/compact-disc player stolen from his vehicle on Atlanta Street.
Criminal damaging: A Girard woman reported her car’s driver’s-side mirror broken while in the 20 block of South State Street.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 36-year-old Howland man on Elruth Court and charged him after a family member reported that he threatened her daughter with a knife and made other threats.
Monday
Theft by deception: An East Liberty Street man told police he sent two checks and a money order in April to a Texarkana, Ark., man to buy auto parts, but that he never received the merchandise.
Arrests: While responding to a report of two men taking scrap items from a trash bin belonging to a West Broadway Avenue business, authorities charged a Hubbard man, 52, and a 54-year-old Mercer, Pa., man with criminal trespassing.
Tuesday
Criminal mischief: A Mohawk Drive woman reported that eggs were tossed at her vehicle.
Criminal mischief: A Cheyenne Drive woman told officers someone threw eggs at her son and her car, slightly damaging the vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A man, while on South Market Street, found dents and damage from a key on his fiancée’s vehicle.
LIBERTY
Saturday
Theft: A man reported his son’s $300 bicycle stolen while the boy was at a park on Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Theft: An employee with Campus Healthcare Inc., 196 Colonial Drive, reported that a former worker took a bag containing hand sanitizer and three dispensers.
Drugs: After pulling a driver over in the 3600 block of Belmont Avenue, police said they found in the car a bag of suspected marijuana. A 42-year-old Hubbard man was charged with possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.
Stolen property: Police conducted a traffic stop on Naylor-Lloyd Road, and two people fled from the vehicle on foot after being pulled over. The 1979 Buick LeSabre had been stolen in Warren, the report shows.
Theft: Someone removed a 4-foot lawn ornament from a residential front yard in the 100 block of Catherine Street.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered a James Lane residence through the front door and stole a miter saw and an 18-volt tool kit. The loss came to $650.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 4700 block of Logan Way saw that all four of her vehicle’s tires had been punctured, resulting in a $400 damage estimate.
Sunday
Arrest: A traffic stop in the 3500 block of Belmont Avenue led to a 48-year-old Youngstown man’s arrest. He was wanted on a charge of menacing.
Arrest: Authorities stopped a vehicle in the 3900 block of Belmont Avenue, where they took into custody a 35-year-old Niles woman on a felony warrant charging her with forgery.
Assault: A Townsend Avenue woman told officers that someone at a neighbor’s home shot her with an electrical device, possibly a Taser.
Monday
Theft: After getting a report of someone creating a disturbance at a Belmont Avenue restaurant, police charged a 53-year-old Youngstown man with theft. He also refused to try to come up with a means to pay his food bill, authorities said.
Theft: Sixty aluminum meter cases were taken from a residence in the 1600 block of Shannon Road.
Tuesday
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Youngstown man staying at a Belmont Avenue motel told police he loaned his 2000 Pontiac to a Struthers woman, who failed to return the car.
Stolen property: While conducting a registration check on a tractor-trailer in the 4200 block of Belmont Avenue, authorities discovered the vehicle had been stolen in Elyria, Ohio.
Wednesday
Arrest: Officers picked up a Youngstown man, 36, at Mahoning County Jail who was wanted on a warrant from the township. He was charged with failure to appear in court on a violation-of-protection order.
