Two arsons reported in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — Tires inside a first floor apartment at 2604 Tyrell Ave. were set on fire around 11:30 p.m. Monday and the blaze did about $15,000 in damage. The apartment was rented but the renter had not moved in yet. Earlier, at 9:15 p.m. Monday, fire crews were sent to 96 Elliot Lane and discovered a fire had been deliberately set in a closet of the vacant house. Damage was set at $2,000.
