U.N. group at YSU to host student forum


YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown State University student organization United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA-YSU) is hosting a student forum at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Peaberry’s Cafe in Kilcawley Center.

The date is United Nations Day, and the topic of the forum is the role and relevance of the United Nations in the modern world. Participating student organizations include UNA-USA-YSU, Amnesty International, College Republicans and College Democrats. 

It will be moderated by Dr. David Porter, a professor in the Political Science and Pre-Law Center and director of the Global Education Program, and Dr. Keith Lepak, associate professor in the Political Science and Pre-Law Center and director of Peace and Conflict Studies at YSU.
