XCANFIELD — Western Reserve United Methodist Church was the setting Sept. 8 for the marriage of Mike Phillips and Michelle Rutushin, both of 3807 Huntmere Ave., Austintown.
Russ Adams performed the ceremony at 2 p.m., and a reception followed at the Regency House in Austintown.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Karen Rutushin, 10141 W. Calla Road, Salem, and the groom is the son of Mike and Jackee Phillips of Austintown and Sherri and Scott Nelson of Boardman.
The bride, who holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University, works as senior program supervisor for InfoCision Management Corp. in Akron. The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science at YSU and works as an electrical engineer for Canfield Industries in Boardman.
The bride’s white strapless ball gown was fashioned of taffeta and adorned with crystal beads, sequins and a semicathedral train.
Amanda Rutushin was maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Stephanie Rutushin, the bride’s sister; Nicole Dubos; and Chrissy Nuzzi, the bride’s cousin. They wore rose-colored dresses. Savannah Dubos and Kaylee Repp, the bride’s cousin, were flower girls.
Nick Lam was best man. Groomsmen were Dustin McMaster; Randy Rutushin, the bride’s brother; and Tony DuPonty. Payton Zupko and Anthony Repp, both cousins of the bride, were ring bearers.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the southern Caribbean.
