YOUNGSTOWN — Roth Bros. recently received the 2007 Partner in Quality Award from Firestone Building Products Co. The award recognizes contractors who installed a minimum of four Firestone roofs in each of the past five years, maintained at least 1 million square feet of Firestone roofs under warranty and achieved outstanding quality ratings.

RAVENNA — Paula Ackerson of Youngstown, a registered nurse at Robinson Memorial Hospital, was selected to attend the University of Akron’s Cameos of Caring nursing gala. The program recognized 14 nurses from 11 regional hospitals. Each designee must demonstrate excellence in nursing care, serve as an effective advocate for patients and families, and act as a role model for the nursing profession. Ackerson cares for cancer patients and those at the end of life.
