XCANFIELD — The exchange of nuptial vows took place Aug. 10 during a 3 p.m. ceremony at Canfield Christian Church as Julie L. Sefcik and Forrest C. Robinson were united in marriage by Pastor Jay Eastman.

A reception was held at Squaw Creek County Club in Vienna to honor the daughter of John A. and Virginia M. Sefcik, 3749 Sperone Court, and the son of Charles and Bonnie Robinson, 4109 S. Chestnut St., Lufkin, Texas.

After a honeymoon at Cancun, Mexico, the couple live in Spring, Texas.

Swarovski crystals embellished the bride’s diamond-white, strapless, A-line gown, which featured a corset back and cathedral train.

Wearing lilac-colored gowns were the bride’s sisters and honor attendants, Jill Sefcik and Melissa Holstead, and the bridesmaids, Katie Wingard, Carol Shaffer, Susan McClain and the bride’s cousin, Kim Sefcik.

Jeff Owen was best man, and the groomsman was Levi McClendon. Guests were ushered by the bride’s brother-in-law, David Holstead.

Mrs. Robinson is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, where she received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies. She is a third-grade teacher with Lakewood Elementary School in Tomball, Texas.

Mr. Robinson is an accountant with BDO Seidman LLP in Houston. He served six years with the Texas Army National Guard and is pursuing a master’s degree in finance at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
