XINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Efroymson Wedding Garden at Indianapolis Zoo was the setting at 1 p.m. Sept. 1 for the wedding of Jessica Louise Stringer of Columbus, a daughter of Gary and Ann Stringer of Indianapolis, and Matthew Thomas Penza, also of Columbus, a son of Thomas and Lissa Penza of Girard.

Pastor Jenny Badenhop officiated at the ceremony, and a reception was held for the couple at Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.

After returning from a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple live in Columbus.

The bride’s satin gown featured a strapless bodice with corset back, and embroidery, pearls and crystal embellished the A-line tufted skirt that cascaded into the chapel train.

Elizabeth Price of Franklin, Ind., served as honor attendant for her sister.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s cousin, Curtis Zaleski of Chambersburg, Pa.

Mrs. Penza graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in family resource management. She is a financial associate with A.G. Edwards in Columbus.

Mr. Penza, a software engineer with J.P. Morgan in Columbus, graduated from OSU with a degree in computer science and engineering.
