XBOARDMAN — The gazebo at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8 for the wedding of Erin Meehan and Chad Dukats, both of 255 E. Park Ave., Columbiana.

Parents of the bride are Timothy and Debra Meehan, 1161 E. Garfield Road, New Springfield, and the groom’s parents are Aivars and Donna Dukats, 104 Claybrook Drive, East Palestine, and the late Sondra Dukats.

Pastor Mike Byus officiated, and a reception was held at the Alpine Room in Enon Valley, Pa. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, they live in Columbiana.

The bride wore a strapless gown of white satin adorned with beading and featuring a corset-tie back and a full skirt with inverted box pleats and a semicathedral train.

Michelle Boano, the honor attendant, wore a blush-pink gown, as did the bridesmaids Molly McCoy, Ashley Cook, Trisha Less, Kim Carney, Amy Otterbacher and Gretchen Barnhouse. Flower girl was Avary Boano.

Performing the duties of best man was Aaron Selway, and groomsmen were Glen Yerke, Doug Levendosky, Pat Kuhlman, Tim Meehan, Scott Danish and Jason Reitmann. Ring bearer was Ian Less, and ushers were Kevin Meehan and Corey Less.

Mrs. Dukats graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and is a registered nurse with Akron Children’s Hospital at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Mr. Dukats is a supervisor with Solid Axle in North Jackson.
