WFMJ TV and WBCB TV have hired Toni Trontel Solarz of Howland as an advertising account executive. She will focus on television, Internet and production sales. She has 18 years’ experience in marketing and sales to the television stations. She earned a marketing degree from Baldwin-Wallace College.
FOUNDATION
The Raymond John Wean Foundation has named Jennifer E. Roller of Youngstown to the newly created position of program officer for urban affairs and neighborhoods. She will meet with perspective grantees and evaluate funding proposals. She holds a master’s degree in education, counseling and student personnel services from Youngstown State University.
EDUCATION
YOUNGSTOWN — National College has named Patrice Cizmar of Canfield as the first campus director of its new Youngstown campus. She will serve as the college’s chief academic and administrative officer. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., and a law degree from Rutgers University School of Law. She had been department chair of the paralegal studies program at E.T.I. College in Niles.
ACCOUNTING
BOARDMAN — Hill, Barth & King, a Boardman-based accounting firm, has hired Beth DelVecchio as an associate. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and has four years of accounting experience, including the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for corporations and individuals. She also has provided auditing services to nonprofit organizations.
BANKING
First National Bank of Pennsylvania has promoted Jennifer M. Reel of Cortland to vice president, director of marketing services. She had been assistant vice president, corporate communications manager. She is responsible for the overall direction of the bank’s advertising, communications, brand management, public and community relations, Web site management, promotions and marketing budget management.
The Home Savings and Loan Co. has hired Norm Wise of Chagrin Falls as a senior mortgage consultant. He had been employed by Countrywide Home Loans and has 33 years of experience in the industry.

Accent Media of Youngstown has added Kristen N. Shick of Canfield to its sales team. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from Ohio State University. Before heading off to teach in Greece, she specialized in sales while at Nordstrom and Remax Real Estate.
