After pulling off a setup to make it appear that Richie is crazy, Ryan told Richie that no one except Ryan will hire him, and Richie accepted the challenge of working for him. Greenlee was dubious but intrigued when JR, under Zach’s direction, provided her with “evidence” that Zach never destroyed the embryos but is storing them privately. Meanwhile, Adam ordered Hannah to find out what’s going on between JR and Zach, or face jail if she doesn’t come through. When Kendall learned that Spike might not be able to have the cochlear implant, she confronted Greenlee about the accident, only to weep, and accept comfort from Greenlee.

While in Montana on what he believed was a “farewell” trip with Carly, Jack was drawn to her, and they made love. Katie was ready to have rebound sex with Brad, but he made her admit that she still loves Jack. As Katie prepared to recommit to Jack, she realized he slept with Carly. Taylor gave birth to a baby boy, but the newborn needed a bone marrow transplant from a parent. When Nick was found not to be a suitable donor, the egg donor agreed to the transplant. Later, Nick tried to stop Taylor from meeting the egg donor to thank her. As the donor recovered, Bridget feared the consequences of the woman’s attachment to the baby. When Felicia blasted Donna for interfering with Eric’s marriage, he told her about Stephanie’s role in the attack on Brooke. Ridge shared a kiss with Brooke.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Convinced that John being hit by the car was no accident, Sami changed her mind and told EJ she’ll marry him. John tried to hang on but couldn’t survive, his passing devastating many in Salem. Belle and Sami decided to move in with a grieving Marlena. Bo gave Shawn his consent to become a policeman but feared his son will be constantly facing danger. After learning that Pocket wasn’t poisoned but has a rare genetic condition, and noting the baby’s bond with his foster parents, Kayla tried convincing Philip it’s time to let go.

GENERAL HOSPITAL

Trevor warned Johnny not to disobey his father or innocent people will die. Sonny was stunned when he finally came face to face with Zacchara. Lulu and Johnny spent some quality time together, where she defused a potentially deadly encounter. Nikolas menaced Carly with a letter opener but had no memory of it immediately afterward, and wanted Patrick to test him until he finds out what’s wrong. Robin lashed out at Patrick when he interfered with her plan to have Jax father her child. She then saw Lucky as a potential donor.

GUIDING LIGHT

Hurt and angry that Daisy had an abortion and didn’t even tell him, Rafe acted out and got himself arrested, then told Daisy he doesn’t want to see her again. Cyrus exposed Alex’s involvement in Marina’s disappearance and announced that as soon as they find Marina, he’s done with Alex. Alex arranged a payment to Griggs in exchange for Marina, but Harley had to deliver it alone. Vanessa had a doctor take Dinah to a facility for observation, as Dinah vowed never to forgive her or Mallet.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Despite being affected by Michael’s televised plea to come home, Marcie, with Ron’s help, assumed a new identity and fled with Tommy. FBI agent Lee Ramsey, who has past issues with John, was put in charge of the case and arrested Ron. Britney found out that Langston’s parents are dead and reported her to Social Services. Dorian vowed to help Langston, who was removed by the agency, while Starr threatened Britney. Antonio learned that Shaun isn’t Talia’s boyfriend but remained clueless about her feelings for him.

PASSIONS

Thinking he was with Eve, Julian made love to Valerie, and had to beg a furious Eve to forgive him. Fancy was crushed to see Luis and Sheridan making love, unaware that Spike had forced them to pretend to be having sex. When Fancy burst into the room, demanding an explanation, Luis made a nervous Sheridan wait outside. Despite Theresa’s strong-arm tactics, Gwen played innocent when grilled about what she has on Pilar. Meanwhile, Pilar was concerned that something is wrong with Gwen’s son Jonathan.

YOUNG AND RESTLESS

Kay tried persuading Nikki to give her marriage another chance, but when Nikki made an overture to Victor, he said he’s calling in her loans. An outraged Nick vowed to help Nikki get the funds she needs, while Victoria joined their campaign to stop Victor. JT investigated the use of substandard materials at Clear Springs, and saw a crack in the cement of the parking area. Phyllis was elated when she was given work release. Under Maggie’s questioning, Jack realized he’s a suspect in Ji Min’s murder. With Cane dating Heather, Lily tried getting over her crush, and ignored the phone when he called.
