Lottery taps Campbell’s Glatzer as teacher of month

CAMPBELL — Campbell Elementary School second-grade teacher Nicholas Glatzer has been named the Ohio State Lottery’s October teacher of the month for the Youngstown area.

Glatzer was nominated by Principal Robert Walls for his ability to communicate with and motivate students.

“Mr. Glatzer is a professional staff member with compassion, enthusiasm, intellectual intensity and positive character,” said Walls. Glatzer “is a constructive beacon of hope and inspiration for those who come in contact with him.”

Glatzer received four free tickets to the Lake Erie Monsters American Hockey League game against the Toronto on Nov. 17. He will be honored publicly at the game.
