Lewis found complicit to aggravated murder

YOUNGSTOWN — A second Youngstown teenager will spend at least 20 years, and possibly life in prison, for his role in last November’s murder of Martwain Dill.

A jury found Eric Lewis, 19, of Kenmore Avenue, guilty of complicity to aggravated murder after deliberating three hours in the Mahoning County Common Pleas courtroom of visiting Judge Charles J. Bannon. The trial lasted one week.

Sentencing is set for 10 a.m. Thursday.

Lewis was indicted on the charge of aggravated murder, but the jury had the option of convicting on complicity, which carries the same penalty of 20, 25 or 30 years to life in prison.
