ODOT seeks comments on project in Ellsworth Township

AKRON — The Ohio Department of Transportation plans to reconstruct the eroded roadway embankment on both sides on U.S. Route 224 in Ellsworth Township, near Meander Creek.

As part of the project, ODOT will relocate the culvert through the base of the road embankment at the eastern leg of Gault Road and regrade the ditch on the south side of Route 224.

During construction, traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers. Access to all adjacent properties shall be maintained at all times during construction of the project. The $650,000 project is expected to begin in spring 2008 and be completed by winter 2008.
