Car dealer faces bad check charge

SHARON, Pa. — The preliminary hearing for a Hubbard man accused of theft and writing bad checks has been postponed to Nov. 20. Nicholas J. Caesar, 53, of Bell Vista Drive, owned State Street Motors Inc., 1215 East State St., Sharon and sold six vehicles earlier this year. According to the police criminal complaint, Caesar borrowed about $70,000 from three financial institutions to purchase the cars for his lot and failed to pay them back when he sold the cars.
