Pa. man in critical condition after traffic accident in Trumbull County

VERNON — A 25-year-old Pennsylvania man remains in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, after he was ejected from his vehicle in an accident on state Route 7 about a mile nort of state Route 88, said the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Stephen Kantner of Greenville, Pa., was driving his car north on Route 7 at 2:08 a.m. today when state troopers believe he fell asleep at the wheel.

His car struck a ditch and rolled over many times. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his car about 100 feet.

The patrol’s post in Southington continues to investigate the accident. The patrol report added that alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
