Drive-thru flu shots being offered Friday at Canfield Fairgrounds

CANFIELD — The Mahoning County District Board of Health is hosting a drive-through flu shot clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Canfield Fairgrounds.

The board reports that the arrangement is the best way to immunize large numbers of people with the least amount of exposure to potential illness or disease. Individual vaccines will be $20. Medicare and Medicaid recipients are asked to bring their cards.

The public will enter the fairgrounds through Gate 8 on state Route 46.
