Court seeks public comment on judge’s reappointment

AKRON — The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is considering whether to reappoint Marilyn Shea-Stonum, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Ohio at Akron to another 14-year term. Her current term expires Sept. 18, 2008.

Members of the bar and public are invited to submit comments for consideration by the Court of Appeals before it decides. All comments will be kept confidential and should be directed to the Office of the Circuit Executive, 503 Potter Stewart United States Courthouse, 100 E. Fifth Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. All comments must be received no later than Nov. 16.
