Cancer support group plans annual dinner
YOUNGSTOWN — The African-American Prostate Cancer Support Group plans its annual prostate cancer and cancer in women dinner and program from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mill Creek Community Center, 496 Glenwood Ave. Featured speakers will be the Rev. Marvin McMickle, Ph.D., author of nine books and senior pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Cleveland, and Dr. Earnest Perry, chairman of the surgery department at Forum Health and in clinical surgery private practice. The topic will be the latest information on breast cancer in women. The dinner and program are free, but registration for dinner is required and open to the first 150 people. To register, call the American Cancer Society Patient Services Center at (888) 227-6446, option No. 2, then option No. 0. Deadline to register is Thursday.
